Our why: I met Stephanie as her part-time professional tutor at Westminster University in 2022. She was a more mature student and lacked confidence because of her foreign background and accent: She was in full-time employment and her former boss wanted her to join his firm. She was tentative about this but when pressed she really wanted to be an associate. I made her see her value by fully embracing her culture, accent and key skills and today she is an associate and an RIBA rising Star. I’m so proud of all she has achieved so far.
